Dealing with the Coronavirus in a Godly Fashion

We're all talking about this Coronavirus and its implications on our society. And we believe the Word of God has the best answers concerning this. We want to help us discover how a child of God might think and act properly in the midst of a widespread time of panic. You may be surprised to find out that this isn't a new issue for the church, but it is one that we can think balanced about and more importantly think holy about. Harder Things: Don't Stop!

In our final Harder Things podcast, we will discuss what it looks like to persevere in the Christian life. We have learned much from Ephesians 6 about the using the strength of the Lord and the Armor of God, but now we'll learn that we need perseverance as well, to never stop following the Lord until we reach the end of our race. Harder Things: Redeem It!

In life, there are two ways to look at everything, either from the standpoint of a victim or, as we'll learn today, someone that desires to redeem the time. Our spiritual enemy is big and bad and he bullies us every day so that we give into our insecurities and lie down and stop moving forward in this Christian race. Our goal is quite simple, to move forward no matter what. So that we can do just that, the Lord has given us a Sword, a really powerful Sword. And if we'll be determined to redeem it, we will WIN. We hope this would encourage you today to press on and redeem the time you've been given by the Lord. Blessings!

Harder Things: Letting Go to Put On

God has several pieces of Spiritual Armor for us to wear so we can be protected in this battle against the forces of evil. But as we'll discuss today, in order to put on the Helmet of Salvation and the True Hope in Jesus, we need to let go of false hopes first. The harder thing is NOT desiring more hope, but to let go of all those things on earth which promise us hope, but cannot deliver. Lord willing, we will be motivated once again to put our entire hope in Jesus and realize and recall that He is the only REAL HOPE in this world. Blessings!

The Shield of Faith is our topic today. How we do we get this Shield and how do we properly use this Shield? Pastor Mel Walker joins us in this important discussion as we seek to do as Ephesians 6:16 tells us to "extinguish ALL the flaming darts of the evil one". What does it take for us to give everything we have to some cause? Obviously whatever that cause is needs to be pretty important. As we'll be reminded today, the Christian path and battle IS that cause. We will challenge ourselves to go faster, greater, and be MORE disciplined because our enemy is vicious and determined to take us down. We need to DO ALL we can to stand firm! We all should be good employees and servants at our place of work, but the reason behind why is actually very deep and profound. We will discuss why we should be good employees, what are the motivations for doing so and what it all means. It's the Christmas season and it has us all seeking to buy presents for our loved ones and of course celebrate the coming of Jesus to this earth with the best present anyone has ever given, salvation. But, do we know that we too are called to give like Jesus gave to us? We will explore one of the hardest topics in the entire Scripture and perhaps the universe - sacrifice.
